Can someone give me step by step directions on banner ads? Went to tools>full page script>use our website monetization widget and edited the details. Would this be the banner ad code?

If you notice such an "advertising attack", first of all, go to your browser settings, find the installed extensions there and uncheck those that are not familiar to you. To make it easier for you to identify the villain, turn off one by one, unchecking the checkboxes and check by opening any site whether the advertisement has disappeared or not.
